Can't see tabs at bottom of worksheet

Sometimes when I open a worksheet I cannot see the tabs at the bottom.
Someone suggested "P *t" as a command to find them. Is this correct, and how
would you use it.
Otherwise, what is a way to show the tabs?

Tools-Options-View. Check "Sheet tabs" at the bottom.

Very helpful, but do you know what the P *t might mean?
Now I am curious as tho whether it is a shortcut.
Thanks.

"Someone" should explain that P *t to the rest of us.

Maybe left out a few steps or key presses.

Not a shortcut in Excel.
