Alt+E Behavior

I recently changed jobs and ran across a funky thing on my new computer. I'm
running Excel 2003 on Windows XP.

For years, I've used ALT+E-C to copy, and ALT+E-P to paste. It's always
worked for me, even with the same version of Excel. For some reason, when I
use ALT+E-C, it opens a new e-mail, with the current Excel workbook as an
attachment.

I can't see anywhere to change this. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Sam.

Why not just use:

Ctrl + C for copy
Ctrl + P for Paste

Paul

Well, it because I've developed this habit over many years, and this is the
only installation of Excel where it won't work!

Some fancy, shmansy keyboards are programmable.

You may want to check the documentation (some help screen???) that came with the
pc to see if you have this turned on by default and what you can do to disable
it.
