deleting duplicate data
I have a set of labels that I exported from my computer at work. They are
formated as standard mailing lables 1" x 2 5/8". The information shows up in excel as follows. uses 3 columns - A, C & D. Each column represents a lable on a 3 columns per row lable sheet. Rows in excel, 1 is name, row 2 is street address and row 3 is city , state and zip. each 5 rows after repeat, example row 6 name, 7 address, 8 city, state, etc. The problem I am having is there are a lot of duplicate address and I am trying to delete them and then reformat the output so that I dont have a bunch of blank labels after printing. I don't know if this can be done in excel of if it would be better to somehow export the information into a text file and then cycle it into a Access and use the features there. Thanks for any help you can give |
