Combo boxes and macros
Hello. I'm picking Excel up as I go along. Am I right to deduce that if I
want combo boxes, I will have to have macros in the Workbook? When I started trying to create a combo box (not very successfully yet I might add), the next time I opened the Workbook I was prompted to 'enable macros?'. My boss is macro-phobic. Thanks in advance if you can help. |
Combo boxes and macros
They don't require macros, but you can do lots more things with them.
If you're looking for choosing items from a dropdown list, maybe data|validation would be easier to implement. Debra Dalgleish has lots of tips: http://contextures.com/xlDataVal01.html And if you're having trouble cleaning up those macros... Debra Dalgleish shows how to clean up all the remnants of macros: http://www.contextures.com/xlfaqMac.html#NoMacros Alison KS wrote: Hello. I'm picking Excel up as I go along.
