Crashing of Excel

Is there a way to recover an excel 2000 file when Excel 200 crashes. I think
excel 2003 autonatically recovers the files but I cannot figure out how to
have excel 2000 auto recover the files. You can email me the response at

Excel 2000 has no autorecovery feature...........was introduced in 2002.

2000 had an autosave add-in which overwrote the file at intervals of your
choice.

If this was not activated, you are out of luck.

BTW.........you posted here so repsonses appear here.
