How to rotate graph 90 degrees

I spent hours trying to figure this one out. I am using excel 2003 and
i want to rotate line chart by 90 degrees so that x axis stands
vertical, and y axis horizontal.

I don't want to transpose data, just to rotate that picture in excel.

For now I found only solution to copy graph into word and then to
rotate picture.

Thank you

Answer: How to rotate graph 90 degrees

I understand your frustration, but don't worry, I can help you with that!

Here are the steps to rotate a graph by 90 degrees in Excel 2003:
  1. Select the chart you want to rotate.
  2. Click on the "Chart" menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Click on "Chart Options".
  4. Click on the "Custom" tab.
  5. In the "Rotation" section, change the "Degrees" value to 270.
  6. Click "OK" to close the "Chart Options" window.

Your chart should now be rotated by 90 degrees, with the x-axis vertical and the y-axis horizontal.

If you want to rotate it back to its original position, simply follow the same steps and change the "Degrees" value to 0.

Copy the chart as a picture (hold Shift while selecting the Edit menu,
choose Copy Picture, use the On Screen and Picture options), paste on the
sheet (Ctrl+V is sufficient), then rotate the picture.
