I have discovered that many Excel functions do not work in a pivot table and
I have to copy and paste special to another worksheet to perform certain sorts. If I have primary and secondary rows like State1 City1 City2 State2 City1 City2 Is there any way to force the state to show up on each line with the cites so records can be kept together in a sort?? Thanks -- rsmith333 |

The row headings show once in a Pivot Table, and there's no setting you
can change, to force them to repeat. To create a table with a heading on each row, you could copy the pivot table, paste it as values in another location, and fill in the blanks, using the technique shown he http://www.contextures.com/xlDataEntry02.html rsmith333 wrote: I have discovered that many Excel functions do not work in a pivot table and I have to copy and paste special to another worksheet to perform certain sorts.
