auto fill series between to non-adjacent cells
Hi. I wondered if there's any way that Excel can auto-fill a series of cells
between two cells. For example - I cell AH contains the figure 280 and cell AW contains the figure 258 - I'd like Exel to automatically fill the cells AI to AV so that they decrease in equal increments down to the final cell. Is this possible? Otherwise I have to divide difference between the two figures and decrease each cell manually. This is something I need to do many times between different cells. I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks |

Manster,
Select the range of cells AH to AW then Edit|Fill|series. Excel should be clever enough to have set the step to -1 so simply click OK. Mike "Manster" wrote: Hi.
