Click on file, Loading Excel problem
For Excel 2007, whenever I click on an Excel file, say in Windows explorer, it loads Excel but the worksheet doesn't appear. After a while, if I click on the minimize button, it will appear. Applies to both .XLS and .XLXS files. This feature worked just fine in previous versions, but not since I upgraded. |
Click on file, Loading Excel problem
Hi Martin,
I don't have a solution, but I can tell you I've seen a similar problem when I try to do attachment, when I click the file to select it while inside Outlook, I am taken into Excel but the file is not opened, but then again, I didn't want it opened, I wanted to attach it. Then I need to switch back to Outlook and click attach. I'm using VISTA and Office 2007. You didn't say what version of Windows you were using. Good luck! -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "Martin K." wrote: For Excel 2007, whenever I click on an Excel file, say in Windows explorer, it loads Excel but the worksheet doesn't appear. UPDATE! The problem went away after un-installing Office, cleaning the
Registry, and then re-installing. Now works just like as before (woth older version). Martin K.
