Click on file, Loading Excel problem

For Excel 2007, whenever I click on an Excel file, say in Windows explorer,
it loads Excel but the worksheet doesn't appear. After a while, if I click
on the minimize button, it will appear. Applies to both .XLS and .XLXS files.

This feature worked just fine in previous versions, but not since I upgraded.

Hi Martin,

I don't have a solution, but I can tell you I've seen a similar problem when
I try to do attachment, when I click the file to select it while inside
Outlook, I am taken into Excel but the file is not opened, but then again, I
didn't want it opened, I wanted to attach it. Then I need to switch back to
Outlook and click attach. I'm using VISTA and Office 2007. You didn't say
what version of Windows you were using.

Good luck!

UPDATE! The problem went away after un-installing Office, cleaning the
Registry, and then re-installing. Now works just like as before (woth older
version).
