Default Excel 2000 breaking links

I am using Excel 2000 and have a lot of links to files that no longer exist
or have been moved. When I click Edit, Links and select the links I do not
get an option to break the link - only to Update Now, Open Source or Change
Source. Any ideas?

Thank you.

I think the the break link option was added in xl2002. So maybe you could open
the file on a pc with xl2002+.

Or

Try Bill Manville's FindLink program:

There are a lot of smart people who share utilities like this:

You may want to visit this site:
http://www.oaltd.co.uk/mvp

And download Jan Karel Pieterse's (with Charles Williams and Matthew Henson)
Name Manager (NameManager.Zip).

(among others!)
