VLOOKUP not working
I am trying to use a VLOOKUP formula in my workbook. I finally have it down
so that when I am in the fx editor it tells me what will be the return value. When I click finish however, the spot where my value SHOULD appear, it only gives me the original formula. Doesn't even say N/A or 0, jut the formula. I am wondering why, in the fx editing part for the VLOOKUP it would work correct but not actually return anything in the workbook. Formula is as follows: =VLOOKUP(D12,Sheet1!D36:H50,3,0) Thanks |

Your cell probably was formatted as text before you applied the function wizard. Format as General AND re-enter the formula (F2,
ENTER). Just re-formatting is not enough. -- Kind regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel "Small One" wrote in message ... |I am trying to use a VLOOKUP formula in my workbook.
