Adding multiple fields to a Pivot table at one time
I have multiple pivot tables that uses multiple data fields. Is there any way
to add multiple items from the Pivot Table Field List to the pivot table data area at once? So in the source data I have hours for each individual by project by month. I want to summarize the hours each person is working by project each month. So I need to add 24 items (1 for each month for 2 years) from the Pivot Table Filed List to my data area. It gets tedious and would be better if I could select all 24 items and add them to the data area at once. But Excel won't let me select more than one at a time. Is this a limitation or am I missing something? |

Not very helpful I know, but I can confirm you do have to add them one at a
time unless you write a macro or something. "GSeattle" wrote: I have multiple pivot tables that uses multiple data fields.
