How to print selected columns that are not adjacent in Excel

In sorting specified columns by hiding unwanted columns, Excel sorts as
requested but stops sorting about 20 lines before the end of the worksheet,
leaving those 20 lines unsorted. How to get the entire worksheet sorted?
Thanks.

Make sure you select the entire range to sort first. Then Data|Sort that range.

If you let excel guess at the range to sort, it may not guess what you want.

Thank you for responding. I tried again, making certain I highlighted the
entire column but same result. When it reaches a certain row it starts
sorting again for several lines and then starts sorting again.
