Transposing a pasted link row into a column

Hi,

I need to link a row of data into a column of data (in the same workbook).
The Source worksheet will be changed periodically. I have tried all
variations of paste special and paste link and cannot figure out how to do
this. Help Please!!

example worksheet 1 (E1:Z1) to transpose this row into a column on
Worksheet 2 (F1:F26). However, the source worksheet 1 will have new data
entered so worksheet 2 must be linked to to worksheet 1.

Instead of just copying and clicking on the "paste link" option to take a
row in worksheet 1 to worksheet 2, how do I make it a column in worksheet 2?
Thanks,

You can enter this in F1 of Sheet2, OR, *anywhere* else you wish, and still
get the data you're looking for:

=INDEX(Sheet1!$E$1:$Z$1,ROWS($1:1))

Copy down as needed.

NOTE ... E1 to Z1 is *only* 22 columns,
NOT the 26 you mentioned!

Hi,

Try this:

in the cell F26 enter this formula

=INDIRECT("sheet1!"&CHAR(68+ROW())&"1")

and then copy drag to F26

Thanks,
