It probably is, it is just considerably lighter. Selected cells in Excel 2007 are not highlighted
I need a solution. I discovered an existing workbook that contains some
sheets with backgrounds and some without backgrounds. On the sheets with backgrounds the highliting works just fine. I tried to apply the same background to another sheet in that workbook and in another file, but I could not get the same result. I cannot figure out the difference between the files/sheets that it would work in one, but not the other. Evidently, somehow it should work!
