Using Macros to manipulate drawn objects

This was really simple in the previous version. I could record a macro that
involve my manipulation of something drawn (eg. an oval) and the associated
code would be recorded in a macro. I can't do this in 2007. I'm using a
60-day trial version - Is that the problem, or is there something else I'm
missing here?
