excel file opening problem
 

When I open any excel file, the only excel program opens with blank screen.
Even without work sheet. In case of opening excelprogram by clicking the
excel shortcut icon, it opens with work shet as "Book 1". How can I make it
posible to open excel file easily. Your help will be appreciated greatly.

If you do a file|Print preview, do you see your file?

If yes, then the file opened, but it's off the screen.
Window|arrange|tiled, then resizing would fix it.

or...

Sometimes one of these works when you're having trouble with double clicking on
the file in windows explorer:

Tools|Options|General|Ignore other applications (uncheck it)

--- or ---

Close Excel and
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /unregserver
then
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /regserver

The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets the windows registry to excel's
factory defaults.

Maybe one of these will work for you.
