Changing the default format of comments
Dear Reader,
I am unable to remember how I changed the format of comments I add to cells. Some comment windows automatically open with a larger area and larger font size, while others are opening much smaller. It is time consuming to right click and reformat each comment I enter. I'm sure I changed the smaller default format previously, but cannot recall how. Thanks in advance if you can help! Changing the default format of comments
Hi GraphicsGirl,
Sad to say, there is no control of this without using VBA. You can achieve some result by change the computers font sizes but I don't suggest that. If you need to do this to a lot of comments at one time then - 1. Choose Tools, Options, View, Comments & indicators 2. Format one comment the way you want it 3. Click its border and then double-click the Format Painter tool and click on each of the other comments. -- Cheers, Shane Devenshire "GraphicsGirl" wrote: Dear Reader, I am unable to remember how I changed the format of comments I add to cells.
