to convert the majority of the program to kilograms

Thanks David for pointing out CONVERT. I hadn't noticed it before. Just
one word of warning when converting liquid measure. The unit gallons seem
to be US gallons NOT UK gallons. Another one to watch is Tons (UK & US).
There may be other imperial units that will return an unexpected answer!

That's interesting, Bill.

My version doesn't have tons, from either side of the pond. My version
distinguishes between US & UK for pints, but not for gallons.
