How to open a LOTUS file in Excel?

I have a Lotus file with the extension "123." I don't know the version of
Lotus. When I try to open it in EXCEL 2003, I get the message, "Cannot Open
Lotus 123 file."

What can I do to open this LOTUS file in EXCEL? I will appreciate advice.

How to open a LOTUS file in Excel?

hi.
123 files i think came out with lotus 2000 and micorsoft didn't not support
it. excel will open wk4 files and back but not 123 files. you will need to
find someone with lotus 2000 or better to open then file.

Sorry

If you do not have access to a version of 1-2-3 that can open the file and
save it in a format Excel can read, you could install the Open Office Calc
program which can open a .123 file and save it as .XLS. www.OpenOffice.org
