If you used save instead of save as can you recover the original file you

Thanks a bunch for awesome words of encouragement....LOL :) I did go to our tech support who keeps the daily back ups and I was able to recover the file. Thanks for your time answering my question. Forensic data recovery companies do this for a price. It's not cheap,
