can you search by the color of the font?
How do I perform a search in Excel that looks for a specific color of the
font? For example, I have a multi-page speadsheet and in some cells I've changed the letters and or words to a different color, say red. How can I go back later and search for all the places the color red is encountered? Thanks |

In Excel 2003
Ctrl - F to open a Find and Replace Screen Click the options button to expand the view Now click the Format Button at the top right Go to the Font Tab Select the text colour you want to find in the Colour: drop down box Click OK without changing anything else to return to the Find and Replace screen Click the Find All Button The cells containing that colour text will appear in the bottom of the Find and Replace screen Hope this helps!! -- Saruman --------------------------------------------------------------------------- All Outgoing Mail Scanned By Norton Antivirus 2003 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Boggshead" wrote in message ...
