Linking data on different worksheets
 

Hi,
I have a worksheet with item codes and prices and a worksheet with a
invoice/quotation. By typing in the item code on the invoice, I would like
exel to put in the price automaticaly.

Can this be done, and if so, how do I go about to get this done?

See VLOOKUP function

=VLOOKUP("itemcode",Sheet1!A:B,2,0)

where columns A & B of sheet1 contains item codes and prices

"itemcode" is cell with item code
