I am trying to save an excel spreadsheet on a CD. I keeps telling me that it
is read only. I have double checked that the read only box is not checked.
What else can I do to fix this?

Save to the hard drive THEN write/burn it to the CD.

You might have to save it to your hard drive, network drive, or other
removable media...and then transfer to optical media. I have never had much
luck in saving from an application to a CD...unless that application
specializes in writing optical media.
