Default format of cells

I have been using a spreed sheet for years. General format was in all
cells. Yesterday I get date format for any cell I have not formated.
Cannot find a solution to this anyware. Help please

Hi.

One possibility is the whole worksheet must have been selected using CTRL+A
and then using the Format - Cell, must have seleted Date under the Category
list of the Numebt Tab.

Note: Press CTRL+A and change the Format-Cell-Category list to General.
