Does "link object" cover this issue?
Hi all,
I am trying to add a link to an excel chart - I want to be able to click on the link and cause a .pdf file to open (which is stored elsewhere on the same computer) I have tried "Insert object" but it only inserts the whole page in the cell and I only want the link. Im sure its basic but I have to start somewhere .. Thanks in advance. Sara |

Hi,
Do the following: 1. On the Insert menu, click Object. 2. Click "Create from file" tab. 3. Click the Browse button to select a file. 4. Select Linkt to file and Display as Icon checkboxes. 5. Click OK Challa Prabhu "Sara" wrote: Hi all, I am trying to add a link to an excel chart - I want to be able to click on the link and cause a .pdf file to open (which is stored elsewhere on the same computer) I have tried "Insert object" but it only inserts the whole page in the cell and I only want the link.
