Files and folder library

Hello

I have a large number of pdf files (over 5000 files) on my hard drive that I
would like to categorize as in Excel. so I can search and filter using excel
tools. Is there any way of making a spreadsheet that can read, and possibly
link, a list of all the folders and files on a drive without having to enter
them in manually?

Thanks

Shayne,

My Excel add-in "List Files" does exactly that.
Files and folders in the specified folder, directory or drive are listed.
Files in sub-folders are listed if requested.
Specific file types or names can be listed. (*.pdf, *.wav, etc)
Each file name, size, date and type go on the list.
Each file name on the list is hyperlinked.
All arranged in columns and rows that can be sorted.
Available - free - upon direct request.
Remove xxx from my email address

Thanks Jim

The Add in works great and was very easy to install. Many hours of data
entry have been saved.

Thanks
