how do generate a drop down list with no blanks
How do I generate a drop down list that has no blanks in it? I used data
validation to pull the list names from another column. However, the column has blanks in it. It would be great if there were a way I could delete the blanks in the drop down list and sort it by alpha. |

On the Data Validation window select 'list'. You will see a tickbox with
the 'ignore blanks' option. tick the box and you should be right "GMRJEN" wrote: How do I generate a drop down list that has no blanks in it? I tried that. For some reason it didn't work. I have 2003. Is this a bug
or something? "lizM" wrote: On the Data Validation window select 'list'.
