How do i lock tabs so that only an admin can edit them?

Can anyone help? I'm trying to create a read-only copy of a worksheet, and it
would be preferable to either lock the tabs along the bottom, or hide them
completley, to be unlocked with a password for admin.

Many Thanks

If you want to hide the tabs, you can use:
tools|options|View tab|Uncheck Sheet Tabs

I'm not sure what lock means--maybe protecting the workbook's structure?
Tools|Protection|protect workbook|Check Structure
