I need to put an "@" in a cell and it is assuming that is a web address.

How do I turn this off so it just displays the string normally??

Thanks in advance for your help.

Tools/ AutoCorrect Options/ AutoFormat as you type/ disable the bit about
Internet & network paths.

Otherwise, precede your cell content by an apostrophe to keep it as text.

The conversion is due to a AutoCorrect setting.
