excel file extension
I have a windows vista operating system. I have office 2003. When I try to
open an excel document it opens in word. when I try to change the file extension my going to open with excel is not there. Can anyone help as you can probably tell computers are not my thing. HELP!!! |

Hi Mr Lost,
In XP you go to StartSettingsControl PanelFolder Options click on the File Types Tab select your file extension from the list and change the program it opens with in that dialog box. I imagine that Vista would be very similar if not the same. HTH Martin P.S. Changing file extensions is not a good idea unless you know exactly what you are doing. |
