Excel doesn't close Book1 when i open another Excel File
Recently Excel has started to require me to save Book1 when i close Excel,
even when i have opened another file. Previously if i opened another file, only that file would be open and Book1 would disappear. Now when i open another file, Book1 stays open as well as the other file, and when i close excel, i am forced to choose save or not for Book1 before closing, even if it is untouched. It is Book1, not Book1.xls. I use Office 2003. Not the end of the world but bloody annoying |

Hi,
Do the following: Click the Window menu. If you find multiple books, then they were created with that instance of current Excel program. If the Window does not show you the Book you have created, then you have invoked Microsof t Excel as a new Process, by cliicking the Microsoft Excel program from the Mocrosft Office Folder, using the Start button on the Taskbar.
