sort anomolies
EXCEL 2000
While working in a sheet that identifies employees by code, we used "A" to "Z" to sort by code (selecting the first data line in the column and hitting the AZ tool button. example: 100 101 101 102 103 103 103 Two people were then identified as being in different codes. That data was entered in the code box and the sort button used again. Example: 100 101 101--102 102 103 103--102 103 (with the arrows showing what the data was changed to) At this point , the sort now shows: 102 102 100 101 102 103 103 Any clues? Kim |
