how do i get excel to show time in minus?
I have a spreadsheet which works out my working hours. Sometimes, the answer
is a minus but excel just shows a lot of hash signs. It won't show the time as minus. How can I fix this? |

Either:
1 Multiply by 24 to convert to hours and change format to general or number to display in decimal hours, or 2 Tools/ Options/ Calculation: select 1904 date system, but be careful in that case if you are transferring date data to & fro between 1900 and 1904 systems. -- David Biddulph "David Crawt" <David wrote in message ...
