Macros written in UK not working in US

I have some macros which reformat a worksheet, add data into new columns,
perform calculations in new columns, re-order and re-name the columns and
save to a new file location. They work in the UK, but the output is incorrect
when they are run in the US. What settings are likely to cause this?

Unless you give some hint as to what "the output is incorrect" means,
the only wild guesses I can make a

1) US and UK date formats are poorly handled
2) Currency exchanges aren't made correctly
3) Time zone corrections aren't made correctly
4) Spelling is different
