When I enter this formula the number 7514856 is returned. How do I interpret
this? How many MB of memory is this? When I look at the task manager it tells me XL is using 12MB of RAM. I'm using XL 2000 here. Thanks, Dave -- A hint to posters: Specific, detailed questions are more likely to be answered than questions that provide no detail about your problem. |

Memused displays the amount of heap memory being used to track cells and
formulas, provide copy and paste functionality, etc. It does not include the memory used by the Excel program and workbook. The value returned is in bytes, so 7514856 would be equal to about 7.2 MB. Just FYI - in '07 - "memavail", "memused", and "totmem" are no longer supported. "Dave F" wrote: When I enter this formula the number 7514856 is returned. How do I interpret this?
