Data validation dropdown arrow disappeared
 

I have cells with data validation using a list, but suddenly the dropdown
list doesn't appear when the cell is selected. The validation is still
functional, but no dropdown on a specific worksheet. If I create a similar
validation on another sheet in the same book, it works just fine. What's
going on?

Have you got "in-cell drop down" un-checked for that particular DV dropdown on
that sheet?

Ensure that in the Excel Options-Advanced the Display options for this
workbook has "For all objects show... All" selected, otherwise dropdown lists
will no longer show up.
