![]() Is there a way to change the date format that excel automatically defaults to? I do not like the "14-Apr" date format. I notice that when I type in 4/14/07, it defaults to 4/14/2007, which is fine, but when I type 4/14, it always defaults to 14-Apr format. Ideally, it would stay in the format in which it is typed. For example, 6-5 would be displayed as 6-5 (as a date), and 4/14 would be displayed as 4/14 (as a date). Otherwise, I'd prefer excel to default to 04/14/2007 or 2007-04-14 format. Any advice? Thanks for your help, uw805 |
