Can anyone explain this? the worksheet is protected and I cannot open (option
is grayed out) it even though I am the author. |

[Group] in the title bar means that that window has multiple sheets selected (or
grouped). This is nice when you want to change something in the same address in all the grouped sheets--nice for headers. Almost any change you make to a sheet in that group is made to the other sheets in that group. So it can make life easier--or disastrous if you forgot to ungroup them when you were finished making those common changes. Just rightclick on any of the grouped sheets and select "ungroup sheets". But this won't have any effect on opening a workbook.
