Showing numerator in graph
I have a data table in one sheet with a numerator in one cell, denominator in
another and a cell with a formula calculating a rate based off the numerator and denominator. I then graph (bar graph) the data showing the rate in another sheet, however, I want to show the numerator (not the rate) on the bar. I know that you can choose to show the value of the data under the data labels tab but this shows the rate that is used to produce the graph...I am interested in showing the numerator used to calculate the rate. |

Try the free Excel add-in "Chart Data Labels" available here...
http://www.realezsites.com/bus/primitivesoftware (no registration required) Uses selected cells as the data source for the data labels. Data labels can also be linked to the cells. Cell formatting is shown in the data label -- Jim Cone San Francisco, USA "JR-BHS" wrote in message I have a data table in one sheet with a numerator in one cell, denominator in another and a cell with a formula calculating a rate based off the numerator and denominator.
