how to remove the apostrophe
Hi
i have a column that contains 8 digit code. However, the front starts with '12345678. May i know how to remove the apostrophe ('). Kindly advise. Thank you |

Try selecting the column then choose Text-To-Columns on the data menu,

Do the following:
1. Select the column heading to select complete cells with the column. Column cells that has text format appears aligned to the left. 2. On the Data menu, click Text to cloumns. The Convert Text to Columns wizard is displayed. 3. Click Finish in the Step1 of 3 in the Convert Text to Columns wizard dialog box. All numbers aligns to right.
