Can you copy a pivot table report?

I have ten different pivot tables on one spreadsheet all based on the same
data. I made 11 copies of the spreadsheet to make one tab for each month of
the year. I then changed the month on each table on each tab to capture just
the month I wanted. Now when I click in table 1 on the January tab to refresh
it, it tries to refresh table 1 on every month's tab. Is there anyway around
this? I really don't want to recreate 10 pivots each for 12 months!

Thanks,
Terri

Not sure i understood your question.
If you want each pivot table to be independent you have to start from
scratch each time. Create a pivot from the data source and when asked if you
want to "base your pivot on your existing report" click "No".
The woorkbook will have a bigger size though, since every pivot will have
his own cache.

Can you copy a pivot table report?

Hi

Could you not drag Month to the page Area, then just use the dropdown to
select which Month you want to view?

That is what I have done on each tab. I was hoping to be able to refresh one
tab at a time instead of all copies of each table refreshing when I do one.

Hi,

You must have different sheet for different types of calendar. Even if you
do not want changes to be refreshed across the same month, then you have to
have a different sheet for that particular month and use them in a single
pivot table. If you have a common sheet then it is obvious that refreshing
you data will update all information across the same pivot table.

Have different sheet as amany as possible and hid them. You can refresh each
table idependently.
