I do have a P.O. format that includes data in columns (units ordered and
dollar amounts by unit & total) and rows (each one of the 3 stores). My boss wants me to create a worksheet that gives him the dates, total of units per store, vendor, purchase order #, dollar amounts per unit, and totals. I also would have to create another worksheet that gives him the monthly total figures including almost the same information. Could somebody help me to link the P.O. to the other 2 worksheets? |

Use ONE worksheet, and use these Excel features to manipulate it:
Subtotals: http://www.officearticles.com/excel/...soft_excel.htm Autofilter: http://www.officearticles.com/excel/...soft_excel.htm Pivot tables: http://www.cpearson.com/excel/pivots.htm **************************** Hope it helps! Thank you Anne,
I tried it but the subtotals don't give all the range of data I need. What I have is P.O. template that should be active in a way that when the new P.O. is entered, the data should automatically be included in the monthly breakdown. It also has to include the date link so it goes to the correct monthly sheet. My boss also want to be able to get the annual figures. It's all this possible? I am supposed to get that ready for him ASAP so I am ready for a heart attack. Can you or somebody else help me? Thanks again. I tried it but it doesn't work. The subtotals don't give the range of data I need. What I have is a P.O. template that should work linked to a monthly breakdown in a way that when a new P.O. is entered the data should automatically go the breakdown page, including also the date link (monthly sheets). My boss also wants to be able to get the annual figures. It's all this possible? I am supposed to have this ready ASAP and I am ready for a heart attack. Can you or somebody else help me? Thanks again.
