Sort of got a similar question. I would like to hide certain columns within a spreadsheet as they contain information I would rather not share with others and password protect it for myself for viewing. I have managed to do this by creating another sheet and password protecting that copying the information from the viewable sheet and adding the sensitive columns within the protected sheet.but it increases the size of the workbook dramatically and seems inefficient. Any help will be appreciated..... Remember also ... XL is not secure. The only way to keep data secure is not to put it into sheets that you give others. :) |
