Using a Word doc for Excel data
Hi,
Yes. First select and copy the range of cells from the Microsoft Word Table cells - or tabbed data, or Comma seperated Values - to Microsoft Excel using the Paste Special under the Edit menu in Microsoft Excel. Note: Only if you use Paste Special and link the source document to Target document - Excel - will the Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) or Object linking and Embedding (OLE) can successfully integrate and communicate between two different propoeritary format.
