Can I extract a picture from an excel file and save it elsewhere?

I have received an excel-file with pictures in it. I'd like to save these
pictures one by one elsewhere on my computer. Is this possible?

1. open another program with picture capability (like PowerPoint)
2. right-click the picture in Excel and select Copy
3. paste in PowerPoint

You can either keep the pictures in PowerPoint or export them as individual
..jpg files

You can rightclick on it and copy it.
Then paste it into a picture editor and save from there.

This may work depending on your version of excel.

If you have lots to do--or even just one...

file|saveas
Save as type: Web Page (*.htm; *.html)

Then close excel

Use windows explorer to go to that folder that holds the file you just saved.
Look for a new subfolder that has the name of the file followed by _files, like:

Book1_files

You'll see a bunch of files there including the picture file.
