IF condition is true, shade cell (more than 3 conditions)

i cant use conditional formatting becuz i have more than 3 conditions

if A1 = 1 , shade cell e4 "blue"
if 2, green
if 3, yellow
if 4, orange
if 5, brown,
if 6, purple
and so on.

is it possible to do it thru an IF statement?
how would i do this ? pls help

If coding is required, pls be specific and stuff (i'm very new to coding
and i might have trouble following)

thanks in advance

Please don't post the same message multiple times - it just tends to
fragment any answers, and it potentially wastes the time of those
answering questions that have already been answered.

Note that it may take more than 28 minutes to get an answer...

That said, see answers in your previous post.
