Freeze Pane problem

Hi

I have a workbooks where I use the function freeze panes. This works fine
someti es, however sometime when another user opens the workbook it loses the
freeze pane which is causing a lot of problems. The workbook is shared and
certain cells are protected.

Any help would be appreciated to why this is happening.

Thanks

John
