if A is x then B is y
I have column A (known) and B (to be filled out). I want excel to look
at A and fill out B based on the value of A. So let's say whenever there is a "DA" value in the Type column, then write "210" in Horsepower field next to it across multiple sheets. If I have 20 types, can I do this in one formula or do I have to repeat the procedure for every type? Type Horsepower AA ??? DA ??? RE ??? |

Take a look at the VLOOKUP function.
