With a formula in a cell, what is the warning symbol for?
Each time a formula references another cell, I often get a little formula
warning icon in upper left corner of cell, telling me something like, "the formula in this cell referes to a range that has additional numbers adjacent to it". Can you eliminate this warning? |

From the Excel main menu:
<tools<options<error checking Adjust the settings to suit your preferences. I believe the specific item you mentioned is: "Formula omits cells in region" Does that help? *********** Regards, Ron XL2002, WinXP "brobcpa" wrote: Each time a formula references another cell, I often get a little formula warning icon in upper left corner of cell, telling me something like, "the formula in this cell referes to a range that has additional numbers adjacent to it".
